Taken with a different camera , therefore with a slightly different angle the boat plays more of a feature in this image than the other .
On closer inspection this craft has certainly seen better days ! In fact it reminds me of a dear friend of mine who had delusions of grandeur when it came to his seafaring abilities. But enormous fun to be with !
At one time he bought an ex inshore trawler named ironically “Holme Maid “ when we saw it we remarked that the vendor must have seen him coming with the Hubble telescope .
I imagine the owner of this tub would have christened it with the equivalent irony in Icelandic , combined with sentiment God help all who sail in her !
Another good reason as mentioned in the previous post regarding our Asian friends missed out on this image . A repeat visit in following months hoping to capture a missed image might find just a heap of matchwood . Can’t see it lasting another Icelandic winter .
