Probably the 3rd favourite image I’ve ever taken , on what seemed a dull ordinary day at Stokksness near Hofn on the south eastern coast of Iceland , in fact it was the last image of the day .
On the way back to the car ,up a long ash dirt track I noticed a pile of washed up Telegraph poles . Now most times my eyes would roll back when I noticed size 10 footprints 👣 ruining the unblemished texture of the ash beach , but having looked at this image from an editing aspect ,trying to capture the atmosphere , I feel that it adds to the story and the scale without adding a person . The footprints were added by my good friend Paul Ocallaghan ,my traveling companion . Thanks Paul !👍🏻
