The temptation of this location is to stick a Neutral density filter on the front of your lens to slow the shutter speed down for that fluffy look ! I also was that man !
Some can have a really dramatic effect , but having been there ,done that , it Occurred to me that the nature of this beach is one dominated by stormy weather , in fact that’s how these huge bus size bergs ended up there in the first place , fluffy waves didn’t gently push them there . The nature of this place is stormy ,and lots of it !
The real beauty is when the Icebergs are backlit by a rising or setting sun , like a huge rough the diamond 2,000 years in the making (then length of time required for Ice the travel the whole length of the Vatnajokull.) caught in a moment of time .
