As the sun drops , artificial light has a chance of illuminating parts of the frame that complete sunshine would have cast in the shadow ,details of subjects and textures suddenly coming to life in the lamplight .
Surprisingly this image more or less contains all the tones between black & white . The evening was a peaceful one , I think in retrospect this comes over in the image , a serene sleepy fishing village ready for bed .
