A favorite location of mine ,at one time one of the most easily accessed glaciers on the south of Iceland . The location for a couple of blockbuster movies , namely “Batman begins” & “Interstellar” ,so obviously also a favorite of Director Christopher Nolan . Both movies having separate scenes taken about 3 miles apart . At the moment access is limited as the mountain on the right is losing support by the receding glacier and cracks are beginning to appear ,collapse is a matter of when . The image was taken after a snowfall highlighting the cracks and fissures of this amazing structure.
