Taken a bit sooner than the “Angelic wave” image at Reynisfjara. The strength and might of the thunderous waves opposes the storm force arctic wind taking the tops of the mountainous waves. Reynisfjara is one of the most dangerous beaches in Iceland, sadly many lives are lost here every year despite repeated warnings from the authorities. The reason being that the continental shelf rises from the depths only a few miles off shore adding immense power the already stormy seas. You can enjoy this image at a distance on your wall, but you may have to don your Icelandic jumpers!
